EA2 Technology
ENRICH ATOMIC ABSORPTION
Nutrient Uptake: Expanding the Horizons
This innovative technology is designed with the primary goal of significantly enhancing nutrient uptake within the plant, without any adverse effects. With years of expertise, the Arihant Group has developed EA2 Technology (Enrich Atomic Absorption), which boasts a proven track record based on extensive field tests and market feedback. Simply put, it combines various proven formulations into a range of highly efficient products, with proportions and ratios tailored to specific usage. The EA2 Technology ensures significantly improved nutrient uptake with reduced input. The two key differences between conventional fertilizers and EA2 based fertilizers are enhanced nutrient uptake and more effective nutrient distribution within the plant. These specialized fertilizers contain a small sealed package that releases nutrients only when they reach a specific target location within the plant. This system ensures Targeted Delivery through molecular coding, allowing precise delivery to the plant’s specific areas. The approach reduces response time to field issues and ensures improved performance compared to conventional fertilizers, with high surface area, sorption capacity, and controlled release mechanisms.
Technology Characteristics
The organic components employed by the EA2 Technology exhibit specific attributes:
-
1
They possess a low molecular weight, allowing easy absorption by the plant.
-
2
They do not compete for metallic ions once absorbed by the plant, unlike conventional chelating agents such as EDTA.
-
3
They completely dissolve within the plant, serving as carbon sources.
-
4
They remain effective under conditions of plant abiotic stress.
-
5
They are effective across both acidic and alkaline pH levels.
Mode of Action
The mode of action may vary based on the components used; however, shared characteristics in the application of these products, utilizing EA² technology, include:
-
1
A significantly rapid and enhanced absorption of nutrients.
-
2
Enhanced and optimized nutrient distribution within the plant.
Nutrient Uptake
A common challenge in nutrient uptake through foliar applications is the negative charge of the leaf cuticle. Our research team has effectively bonded certain organic factors with nutrients, creating a neutral charge. This facilitates higher nutrient uptake, as the neutral molecules do not interact with the cuticle’s negative charge.
Movement within the Plant
The nutrient efficiency of conventional fertilizers is reduced due to the cell walls of plant cells, requiring the plant to expend energy to absorb these nutrients. In times of abiotic stress, this energy demand makes nutrient absorption even more challenging. Nutrients primarily move through the apoplastic pathway, leading to slow and uneven translocation within the plant. This ultimately reduces the effectiveness of these fertilizers.
EA² technology utilizes enabling organic factor series that act as dipoles, bonding with nutrients and facilitating their easy entry into the plant cell wall without requiring the plant to expend energy. This allows nutrients to move efficiently through both apoplastic and symplastic pathways, resulting in faster and more uniform translocation. This further ensures that products made with EA² technology remain highly effective, even under stress conditions.
