Why do you require pH Balancer
The quality and pH of the water have a direct impact on the effectiveness of the fertilizers and other nutrients applied to the plants as a spray or any other irrigating method. When the pH of the water exceeds 7 ,the concentration of hydroxyl ions (OH-) increases high enough to break down the bonds of the chemical structure. This breakdown reduces the performance all types of NPK liquid fertilizers, pesticides, weedicides, herbicides, and plant growth regulators.
Soft water is generally considered more compatible with fertilizers than hard water. This is because soft water contains fewer minerals and dissolved solid, and this ensures a more conducive situation for the plant to absorb the nutrients provided.
Ca and Mg can affect soil structure, nutrient availability, and plant growth. They are important for maintaining the balance of soil nutrients, especially in areas with acidic soils.Such Chemical components present in the fertilizer or the water leave residue that settles in the soil and hardens it, makes it less porous and hence less cultivable. pH balancer plays a vital role in decalcification of the soil by breaking down the salts present in the soil. This eventually increases the porosity and cultivability of the soil.
