They are a collection of beneficial microbes that are able to break down both organic and inorganic insoluble phosphorus compounds into a soluble form of phosphorus, which is easily absorbed by plants.

The process of making phosphorus available to plants includes reducing the pH of the soil, chelation, and mineralization. These microbes protect plants by preventing phytopathogens. Sufficient phosphate supply aids in seed development and the early maturation of crops. It may also accelerate ripening and encourage young plants to grow deeper and more numerous roots. Additionally, the effectiveness and shelf life are enhanced due to the product being talc-based.

  1. Fulfilling Deficiencies:
These fungi help address phosphorus deficiencies in plants, ensuring an adequate supply of this essential nutrient for healthy development.
  2. Enhancing Plant Activities:
Phosphorus-solubilizing fungi support vital plant functions such as photosynthesis, root development, stem strength, and flower and seed formation.
  3. Early Ripening and Root Growth:
They promote early fruit ripening and foster the growth of young plants with deeper, more robust root systems.
  4. Auxin and Gibberellin Production:
These fungi stimulate plant growth by producing natural hormones like auxins and gibberellins, enhancing plant vigor.
  5. Increased Phosphorus Availability:
PSF improve phosphorus availability in the soil without disrupting its biochemical balance, enabling plants to efficiently absorb and use this nutrient.
